He holds a DNB (Urology) from Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, an MS in General Surgery, and MRCS (UK), backed by a strong foundation in medical education and surgical practice.

Currently practicing at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai, Dr. Kothawala is also a Consultant Urologist at Ruby Hall Clinic Wanowrie, Inamdar Multispeciality Hospital, and serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Bharati Medical College, Pune.
